A visit to The Carrington Inn Restaurant & Bar is a truly unique and intimate experience, where time matters little and the past and present can entangle over a glass of wine.

Unwind in front of one of our many open log fires or perhaps enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or an after-dinner coffee and port by the fireside in our 180 year old mahogany bar, brought intact from its original home in England and reinstated at The Carrington Inn.

Take a leisurely stroll through our quaint and tranquil gardens before enjoying a relaxing lunch in our courtyard.

Each of the six main rooms of the original inn has its very own distinctive style. Antiques and fittings that evoke romantic memories of the past that all combine to create an award-winning dining experience for which The Carrington Inn has become renowned.  

Executive Chef Bostijan Savle has designed a menu which focuses on contemporary Australian cuisine. You will want to try our signature dessert of Chocolate Spring Rolls. Our focus is on providing true Australian hospitality and personalised, friendly service to compliment the eating experience.

  The Carrington Inn is also focused on showcasing  the local Canberra Wine Region into the dining experience. Local wines are carefully selected to perfectly match and compliment our menus.
