About us
Buit in 1885 as a coaching inn on the Cobb & Co route, The Carrington was destined for a diverse and colourful life. Bungendore legend states that on the day it ended its original working life as an inn, only three beers at tuppence each were sold!. The Carrington Inn was later to become a general store, a bordello and finally a private home. Now The Carrington Inn once more offers visitors a warm welcome, fine food and excellent accommodation, a significant piece of Australia’s history has been rescued and lovingly restored for all to enjoy.
